College of Agriculture Ambassadors
The mission of the Ambassadors is to recruit and retain students in MSU’s College of Agriculture while fostering a lifelong appreciation for agriculture and natural resources in current and prospective students. We offer individual or group tours of agricultural facilities on and off campus. Ambassadors meet with prospective students on campus and are available for presentations on career and college topics relating to agricultural sciences. We work to support and mentor incoming students in the College and represent the College at numerous events including Celebrate Ag Week, MSU Fridays, State FFA Convention and more.

Recruitment & Retention
The Ambassadors take part in various recruitment activities such as MSU Fridays, prospective student visits, and more. Each spring, they write personalized letters to prospective students, providing guidance and information about the College. In the fall, the Ambassadors connect with new students, offering them tips, deadline reminders, stress management resources, and more. Their goal is to welcome all new students to the College of Agriculture and provide support wherever needed.
